Working principle

how to replace the brake shoes 4707
1.Remove the brake shoe: Take off the tire to access the drum. Tap it with a hammer to loosen and remove it.
2.Detach the return spring: Pry it off with a flat - head screwdriver. You must remove this spring to replace the pads.
3.Unscrew the fixing bolts: Use pliers to remove the two bolts securing the front and rear pads.
4.Take out the old pads: They should come off easily after the above steps.
5.Install new pads: Transfer the positioning pin from the old pads to the new ones, then fit them onto the brake assembly.
6.Adjust the handbrake: Use a screwdriver to tweak the self - adjuster. The handbrake should engage firmly but not too tightly-aim for slight resistance when testing with the new drum on.
7.Reattach the drum and tire: Once everything checks out, put the drum back on and reinstall the tire.
