Classified by shape
Paddle blade: the shape is similar to paddle, usually rectangular or trapezoidal. It is suitable for the mixing of low-viscosity fluids, such as in some simple mixing and dissolving operations, which can promote the overall flow of a large number of materials to form a macroscopic mixing effect, and promote the uniform mixing of materials.
Turbine blade: Generally in the shape of a disk with multiple blades around it, similar to a turbine. Characterized by strong shear and high turbulence, commonly used in the need for rapid dispersion, emulsification or dissolution of the occasion, such as coatings, inks and other industries, can make the different components of the rapid and uniform mixing, improve product quality.
Anchor blade: shaped like an anchor, usually used for mixing high viscosity materials. In the mixing process, the anchor blade can move along the inner wall of the mixing container to prevent the material from sticking to the wall, and at the same time, it has better promotion and stirring effect on the high viscosity material, which is commonly used in polymerization reaction, food processing and other fields of high viscosity material mixing.
Screw-type blade: similar to the spiral structure of the belt, suitable for large-scale mixing tank and high viscosity material mixing. It can form axial flow in the whole mixing tank, so that the materials in the axial and radial direction can be fully mixed, commonly used in large-scale chemical production, papermaking and other industries in the large-scale mixing equipment.
Classified by Function
Dispersing blade: such blades are designed to disperse the agglomerates or lumps in the material into smaller particles to make the material more uniform. Usually with sharp edges and special shapes, they are able to generate strong shearing force when rotating at high speeds, breaking up large particles and dispersing them in the liquid, commonly used in dispersing operations in pigment, dye and other industries.
Emulsifying blade: It is mainly used for mixing two immiscible liquids to form emulsion. Its structure is characterized by high intensity shear and mixing in the mixing process, so that a liquid in the form of tiny droplets evenly dispersed in another liquid to form a stable emulsion system, commonly used in cosmetics, food, pharmaceutical and other industries.
Homogenizing blade: The purpose is to make the material highly uniform and consistent in terms of particle size and composition. Through high-speed rotation and special blade structure, the material is repeatedly sheared, ground and mixed to homogenize the properties of the material, which is commonly used in the production process of dairy products, beverages and other industries.
Classification by material
Stainless steel blade: has good corrosion resistance, rust resistance and mechanical strength, applicable to most of the chemical, food, pharmaceutical and other industries, can maintain stable performance in different working environments, not easy to be corroded by the material, and easy to clean and maintain.
Alloy blades: usually composed of a variety of metal elements, such as tungsten steel alloy, chromium-molybdenum alloy steel. Alloy blades have higher hardness, wear resistance and high temperature resistance, can withstand greater cutting force and impact, suitable for mixing high hardness, high viscosity or abrasive materials, such as ore grinding, refractory mixing and other occasions.
Ceramic blades: with high hardness, wear resistance and chemical stability, can resist the erosion of most chemical substances, and is not easy to react with the material. It is suitable for mixing materials with very high purity requirements and sensitive to metal ion pollution, such as electronic materials, high-end cosmetics and other fields, but the ceramic blade is relatively brittle, avoid collision and impact when using.
