The brake lining barrel mold is suitable for the hot pre-forming of various drum brakes.

 

It's made of 40Cr steel through forging.  After heat treatment, its hardness reaches HRC40-52. It is chrome-plated with a thickness of 0.03–0.05 mm, ensuring durability.

 

 

This mould consists of an upper mould, a lower mould, a liner, a baffle, upper and lower templates, a drag rod, and a guide sleeve. The upper and lower moulds are precisely ground using a grinding machine. During hot pressing, the blank intrados gap should be controlled within 0.15 mm, and the thickness tolerance should be less than ±0.3 mm.
