Braking is one of the main technical key problems in the development of high-power downhaul belt conveyor. The energy absorbed by the brake during braking is much larger than that of the horizontal and uphaul conveyor. If the brake is simply used, the brake lining will wear quickly, and it is easy to cause car accidents. Brake wheel surface temperature is high, even with the brake lining wear spark, will cause explosion accident.
If the brake deceleration is too large, there will be rolling material phenomenon. In order to solve these problems, the device adopts a two-stage braking scheme, that is, the hydraulic braking is first used to reduce the speed from 1520 RPM to about 500 RPM, absorb most of the energy, and then use the mechanical brake to stop. The monitor is equipped with an automatic adjustment system to ensure the smoothness of the brake.
The feasibility and prototype laboratory test show that the selected technical scheme is feasible, the design parameters determined by the prototype are correct, and the performance meets the original requirements. The project has successfully completed the requirements specified in the plan task book, and fully meets the basic technical requirements of the up-down belt conveyor in the mining area. It can be used in the equipment of downhaul belt conveyor and similar working conditions.
