In the lifting operation, the brake device is used to prevent the suspension of the goods or the lifting arm from falling, to prevent the turntable or the crane from sliding under the force of the wind or the slope; Or cause the operating mechanism to slow down and stop moving; It can also be operated by clamping heavy objects according to work needs; In special cases, the speed of movement is adjusted by controlling the balance of power and gravity.
The brake device is divided into two kinds: brake and stopper. The stopper can only make the shaft rotate freely in a single direction, and cannot absorb kinetic energy, and can only support the item to be stationary. Under normal circumstances, the working mechanism of the crane should be equipped with a brake, only in the following circumstances, can not install the brake:
1, the mechanism is driven by the linear movement of the oil cylinder, locking the oil circuit can rely on the ground stop mechanism.
2, the manual operation mechanism of the bridge crane, and is not subject to wind or ramp force.
