The difference between straight mode brake pads and other brake head pads

Oct 16, 2024

Material differences:

Ordinary brake pads: usually made of organic materials or semi-metallic materials, the price is cheaper.

Straight-mode brake pads (hypothetical) : More advanced materials, such as ceramic fibers or other special composites, may be used to suit specific braking needs.

Friction coefficient and braking performance:

Ordinary brake pads: may produce a large coefficient of friction during braking, braking force is large but may be accompanied by noise and wear.

Straight-mode brake pads (hypothetical) : The design may be more focused on maintaining a stable coefficient of friction, ensuring braking performance at different temperatures and speeds. Ceramic brake pads usually have advantages in this regard, and their coefficient of friction can remain relatively stable at high temperatures.

Thermal stability and thermal conductivity:

Ordinary brake pads: may show thermal decay at high temperatures, that is, reduced braking performance.
