mixing equipment
Mixing equipment is used to mix various raw materials such as metal powder, ceramic fiber, resin, etc. in proportion to form a uniform friction material matrix. Commonly, there are high-speed mixer, which through the high-speed rotation of the stirring paddles, so that the raw materials in a short period of time to achieve the effect of uniform mixing. Forming Equipment
1. Hydraulic Press: It is a commonly used equipment for brake pad molding. By applying high pressure, the mixed material is pressed into the required shape of brake pads. Depending on the structure, there are four-column hydraulic presses and frame-type hydraulic presses. The four-column hydraulic press has a simple structure and low cost, and is suitable for small enterprises or low production; the frame hydraulic press has a solid structure and high precision, and is suitable for producing high-precision brake pads.
2. Injection molding machine: The friction material heated to molten state is injected into the mold cavity and formed into brake pads after cooling. Its advantages are high production efficiency, high dimensional accuracy of the product, good surface quality, but the equipment cost is high, suitable for mass production.
Sintering equipment
Sintering equipment is commonly used in sintering furnaces for high-temperature sintering of molded brake pads to improve their mechanical strength and wear resistance. For example, the pusher type sintering furnace is suitable for mass production, through the pusher will be loaded with brake pads of the material tray sequentially pushed into the furnace chamber for sintering; mesh belt sintering furnace using mesh belt conveyor brake pads, continuous production can be realized, high production efficiency.
Processing equipment
Such as grinding machines, are used to grind the sintered brake pads to achieve the specified dimensional accuracy and surface roughness. Like surface grinding machine can grind the flat surface of brake pads, and cylindrical grinding machine is used to grind the cylindrical surface of brake pads. There are also drilling machines for machining mounting holes on brake pads.
Surface treatment equipment
Such as coating equipment, in order to improve the corrosion resistance and adhesion of the brake pads, it is usually necessary to treat the surface of the brake pads, such as coating corrosion-resistant layer, anti-skid layer and so on. Packaging equipment is used to clean and package the finished brake pads to prevent contamination or damage during transportation and storage.
