This hot-pressing mold for bus brake pads is especially suitable for processing bus brake pads with large steel back dimensions, thick friction layers, and strict hot-pressing standards.

Its structure consists of an upper template, a middle template, and a lower template. The upper template is connected to the heating plate, and the lower template is composed of multiple ejector sub-molds. Each ejector sub-mold corresponds to a mold cavity in the middle template to form a hot-pressing module for a brake pad. The lower template includes a buffer bottom plate connected to the bottoms of multiple ejector sub-molds.

This hot-pressing mold for brake pads has multiple hot-pressing mold cavities and can apply equal-proportion pressure. It features balanced hot-pressing of brake pads, uniform heating, high molding efficiency, and consistent hot-pressing quality standards.

Mold Design and Manufacturing

Special Structural Design
A concave surface area is set on the surface where the steel back contacts the friction material. Additionally, multiple reverse draft protruding nails that are integrally formed with the steel back body are arranged within the concave surface area. This design enables the friction material to better bond with the steel back, effectively preventing it from peeling off.

Material Selection
The mold is fabricated from high-strength alloy steel. It undergoes precision machining and heat treatment processes to ensure the accuracy of the mold and extend its service life. The surface of the mold has been polished to reduce the surface roughness, thereby guaranteeing the surface quality of the brake pads after molding.
